healthy green smoothie

Green smoothies for breakfast are my favourite, but I normally I never eat breakfast since I am doing intermittent fasting at the moment. However, sometimes on a Sunday I like to make an exception and have a little breakfast when I wake up. Sunday is my favourite day of the week because you can sleep in, be lazy and relax all day. I usually make a healthy green smoothie for breakfast and drink that together with my coffee with almond milk. Since I am such a fan of these smoothies I wanted to share the recipe with you!

The healthy ingredients

All the ingredients you need for this green smoothie are:

  1. 50 grams of spinach
  2. 1 avocado
  3. 300 ml almond milk
  4. 1 table spoon peanut butter
  5. 2 table spoons chia seeds
  6. 1 table spoon honey

What you do next is you throw everything together in the blender and ta-da, there is your green smoothie. Of course you don’t have to stick with this particular recipe, what I like to do is add some kale in there as well or ditch the peanut butter and add a banana instead.

The rest of my day was super chill. I did some reorganising in my apartment. Recently I got some new wall-art so I have to figure out where to put it. Will post photos of that soon as well! I hope you guys also had a lovely weekend and are ready for a new week tomorrow.
